Vegan recipes that are easy to follow, tasty and healthy
This is very sugary and fatty, but who cares? It can be made in a few minutes and
serves 4 people.
6 oz. (150g) white self-raising flour
3 oz. (75g) vegetable suet
3 tbsps jam
2 oz. (50g) sugar
½ pint (250 ml) soya milk
Grease a pudding basin (1.5 pint or 1 litre) with margarine and spoon jam into the
bottom. In a bowl, mix together the flour, suet, sugar and a pinch of salt. Gradually
stir in the milk and pour the mix into the bowl. Cover the bowl with a plate and
microwave for 4 to 5 minutes on full power. Turn out onto a plate. Whilst it is cooking,
make some custard from soya milk.
